I've decided to try the occasional "blog" post. I think for my first one I'll talk about what equipment I use. I have a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and Canon lenses 24-105 F4L,17-40 F4L,70-200 F4L, 50 F1.8 and a 28 F1.8 as you can see the cheap lenses but as i almost always use a tripod and shoot at F11-F22 I really don't have a need for fast glass. I use a Rocketfish carbon fiber tripod with a Rocketfish ballhead. I have a Canon 580 EX II flash that I use for outdoor portraits and and a Photogenic Flashmaster for the inside stuff. For software I use Canon Digital Photo Professional, Photoshop Elements 9, PhotoMatix Pro 4.2 and PortraitProfessional 11. I always shoot in RAW and when outside I use circular polarizers and neutral density filters usually Tiffen and to carry it all around I use LowePro bags.
